Muhurat trading has significance as it marks the beginning of the year. Investors believe that any investment during the Muhurat trading session will create wealth over the next one year. This practice was started in 1957 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and still many people believe this. Sensex and Nifty usually move higher during this session.
